The beginning

Now that I’m going to start an accounting and finance blog and I need a post to highlight on my LinkedIn, I think it’s a good time to start getting to know each other better. I’m Julio, a 22-year-old guy who a few months ago said goodbye to his job, family and friends for a single goal: to be a reference in the accounting and finance area, proving that the best thing about this field is that if you really want to go far, no matter where you come from, you can.

I am aware that this area is not something that many people are passionate about and also that most of the people who get into it have done so because of family pressures or better job opportunities… so without expecting to have a great impact with my publications and only with the aim of helping the few who are as passionate about this area as I am, I have created my social networks with the intention of serving as support, giving recommendations and information on productivity, networking, academic approach, scholarships and everything that ultimately can help anyone to improve in this area.

To this end, I have set up a newsletter that will keep you up to date with any post I upload to my blog and you also have a contact form if you want to ask me any questions, I will be happy to answer them. Remember that by sharing this project you can probably help some of your contacts.

This is just a small post, but it is also a declaration that today is the beginning of a journey, which will become bigger as readers like you decide to join it.
